mr. king: i don't know. this is such a critical issue even for himself as a president because we know the elections are coming. conventional wisdom says one thing and people are chomping at the bit. the way that some of the lines are drawn in certain congressional districts in our state and many other states could make the map drawing so difficult that you could make it difficult for the demand -- democratic party to retain its majority. even as it pertains to the senatorial elections. this issue is so important. nobody knows what voters are going to do for short. -- four -- for sure. the issue is that we should make it easier not harder for everyone to vote. senator manchin and senator sinema talk about bipartisanship. none of these bills make it harder to vote have been bipartisan. they have been republican. what's interesting is the dual standard. host: to say the least. there is a palpable anger at the white house and at the democratic party among voting rights advocates over the previous lack of action.
